The sixth edition of the Haarlemmermeer marathon will take place on September 5th 2010.

 

The Haarlemmermeer Marathon not only features the classical marathon distance but also the half marathon, 5 and 10 km and a kidsrun. The track brings you along several beautiful places in the Haarlemmermeer polder including the famous Calatrava bridges and the Schiphol airport runways.

 


Where and when

Date: September 5th 2010
Start and finish: Burgemeester van Stamplein, Hoofddorp

Marathon Organisation office: Fanny Blankers-Koenhal, Arnolduspark 3, Hoofddorp.

Open on Saturday September 4th from 10:00 - 15:00 hrs and on Sunday September 5th from 08:30 until an hour before the start.

Changing rooms: Fanny Blankers-Koenhal, Arnolduspark 3, Hoofddorp
Storage for clothing and personal belongings: Fanny Blankers-Koenhal, Arnolduspark 3, Hoofddorp. It is possible to take a shower or a massage here. You can also store your clothing near the start.

The marathon has a maximum time limit of five hours.

Registration
The online registration is now open - goto Inschrijven. You can collect your bib at the Marathon office.

Prices
All participants that complete the course receive a souvenir.
There are prices for the first three runners in the categories: seniors, 35+, 45+ and 55+, both male and female.

Ultracup

This match is part of the Marathon and Ultracup. More info about this criterion on www.bloggen.be/marathon_en_ultracup.

Business run
You can register for one of the distances of the Haarlemmermeer Marathon as a team, with your colleagues or business relations.  The maximum number of team members is 6 persons. The finishing times of the 4 fastest runners of a team are totalled for the team results. The fastest team will win a trophy.

ChampionChip
Time of all distances is registered by using a ChampionChip. If you don't own a ChampionChip at the start of the event, you can rent or buy a chip from the organisation.

The rental fee is € 2,50 for the marathon and € 1,50 for the other distances. The purchase price of the chip is € 28,-. A rental chip must be returned immediately after the race at the designated locations. If you don't return the rental chip in time (before September 16th) you will be charged the full purchase price. If you register at the start you can only use a rental chip. The rental fee is included in the registration fee.


Refreshments
There are refreshment stations every five kilometres where you can get water and thirst quenchers. The 15 and 30 km stations have fruit available. In between the refreshment stations we hand out wet sponges. First aid is available at certain stations.
